What the short test covers
The free set gives you a first look at Swedish multiple-choice wording. Across the full question bank, the 13 subject areas include geography, democracy, government, elections, law, media, rights, work, welfare, history, international relations, religion and traditions.
Several options may sound partly reasonable. Read the whole question and look for limiting words such as mainly, forbidden, always, first or not before choosing.
What the result can and cannot tell you
Fifteen questions can reveal unfamiliar vocabulary and weak concepts. They cannot prove that you are ready for every chapter, and the score is not a prediction or guarantee for the official test.
Review the explanation behind each mistake. Note whether the problem was factual knowledge, Swedish reading or rushing. That diagnosis is more useful than the percentage alone.
Three examples of the reasoning you need
“Which level is mainly responsible for healthcare?” tests whether you separate the region from the state and municipality. The region is correct. The word mainly matters because several levels can affect healthcare in different ways.
“Is discrimination because of religion forbidden?” requires careful reading of both forbidden and religion. The correct answer is yes. Missing one word reverses the meaning.
A question about universal and equal suffrage tests a period: the 1910s and 1920s. Connect that period to women voting in a Riksdag election for the first time in 1921.
How to use the result
If the test feels difficult, start with the reading summaries. If it feels easy, continue to chapter questions or a mock exam.
Use a simple loop: review every wrong answer, read the matching chapter, answer a short set from that topic, repeat the weak questions the next day, then move to mixed practice.
