Source updated and effective: 2026-08-26
Draft translation of our Swedish terms. Language and legal review is pending. Contact us if anything is unclear before accepting or paying.
These terms apply to the website, practice questions, learning material, simulations, account services and other digital content provided by Öva Medborgarskap. By using the service or purchasing paid access, you accept these terms.
1. About the service
Öva Medborgarskap is an independent digital study service for people preparing for the Swedish citizenship test and learning about Swedish society.
Swed Prime AB, Swedish company registration number 559213-5262, operates the service and is your contracting party when you use or buy it.
The service is for study and practice, not official testing.
- Learning material and summaries
- Practice questions and chapter training
- Exam simulations
- Explanations in Swedish and support languages
- Progress, statistics and revision features
- Free and paid content
2. Independent study material
We are an independent service, not UHR, Migrationsverket, Skolverket, the government or any other Swedish authority.
References to these authorities, Sverige i fokus and the citizenship test describe the subject, test, official information or study context only.
We develop our own study material. We do not reproduce official exam questions or copy official material.
3. No official questions or exam guarantee
Our questions, options, explanations, simulations and examples are created for practice. They are not official exam questions.
We do not guarantee that you will pass, be allowed to take the test, qualify for Swedish citizenship, or encounter our questions in a future exam.
UHR and the responsible authorities provide official test information. Migrationsverket decides citizenship applications.
4. Not legal or official advice
The information is study material, not legal, immigration or government advice, or a personal assessment of your citizenship case.
You are responsible for checking current official information with UHR, Migrationsverket and other relevant authorities.
5. Content changes and updates
We work to make content accurate, clear and useful, but rules, official information, test formats and facts can change.
We may correct errors, update facts, change wording, add or remove questions, and change the structure, chapters, topics or features at any time.
The version currently available in the service is the current version.
6. Free and paid access
Some parts may be free. Others may require a purchase, account, sign-in or active Premium access.
Paid access is personal and must not be shared with other people.
7. Accounts and sign-in
Some features require an account or email sign-in.
You must provide a correct email address, keep access to your email secure, avoid sharing your login, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.
We may suspend or limit an account if we have reasonable grounds to believe it is being used in breach of these terms.
8. Purchases, payment and Premium access
Payments are normally handled by an external provider such as Stripe. Its terms and privacy policy may also apply.
Prices appear on the website or at checkout and are in Swedish kronor unless stated otherwise.
After payment, you receive access to the digital content included in the product purchased.
If a product is marketed as lifetime access, this means access while we actively provide that service and product, not a guarantee that the service will exist forever.
9. Withdrawal and digital content
Special withdrawal rules may apply because the service consists of digital content and services.
If you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal, that right may end when access starts.
This does not affect mandatory consumer rights, including complaints about a defective digital service.
10. Complaints and faults
Contact us as soon as possible if a purchased digital product is defective or paid access has not been provided.
Describe the problem clearly. Where possible, include the email used for purchase, payment reference, screenshot or error description, and your device and browser.
We try to resolve technical problems, restore access or provide another reasonable remedy where justified.
11. Content use and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, we or our licensors own the material, including questions, options, explanations, text, summaries, structure, design, graphics, code, brands, databases, features and user flows.
You may use the material for personal study.
- Do not copy substantial parts.
- Do not publish, sell, license or distribute the material.
- Do not share Premium content with others.
- Do not build a competing question bank from our material.
- Do not scrape, crawl or automatically retrieve content.
- Do not use the material to train AI models or build automated datasets.
- Do not bypass technical restrictions, paywalls or access controls.
12. Prohibited use
Do not use the service to break the law, disrupt operations, avoid payment, spread malicious code, use bots, or falsely imply that you represent us or a public authority.
13. Availability and technical changes
We aim to keep the service available and working, but do not guarantee freedom from interruptions, errors, delays or technical problems.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, updates, troubleshooting or technical improvements.
We may also change, add or remove features.
14. Languages and translations
The service may offer content and explanations in several languages.
Swedish remains the primary study language because the actual citizenship test is in Swedish. Other languages support understanding and learning.
15. Personal data and privacy
Our privacy policy describes the data collected, why, retention and your rights.
Data may include email, account information, payment status, study progress, quiz results, technical information and support requests.
16. Third-party services
We may use third parties for payments, sign-in, databases, hosting, email, analytics, error reporting and support.
Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
17. Liability
The service is study support. We are not responsible for decisions made by UHR, Migrationsverket or other authorities.
We are not responsible for you passing the exam or receiving Swedish citizenship.
Nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights.
18. Changes to the terms
We may update the terms when needed, including changes to the service, legal requirements, payment solutions or product content.
The latest version is published on the website. For major changes materially affecting paying users, we may notify users on the website, by email or in the service.
19. Transfer
You may not transfer your account or contractual rights to another person without our written approval.
We may transfer the service, contract or parts of the business to another company, provided your mandatory rights are not reduced.
20. Disputes and applicable law
Swedish law applies unless mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint.
If we cannot agree, consumers can contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or another competent dispute-resolution body. A dispute may also be heard by a Swedish general court.
